EPC Certificate

If you wish to sell your property or even rent it out for a longer period than four months, an energy performance certificate is a strict requirement. Without the EPC your property cannot be sold, nor can it be legally rented.

When you are selling your property, the original certificate should be presented by the seller. A buyer may reasonably ask to see this certificate. You can arrange to attach an electronic copy to your listing.

Your listing and any advertising material must clearly show the allocated energy label.

The EPC is known as ‘Certificado de Eficiencia Energética (CEE)’ in Spanish.
